As the country continues to grapple with the coronavirus pandemic, members of the Philippine Nickel Industry Association have donated more than P38 million of their social development management program fund to help COVID-19 front liners and their host communities.

Ang Citinickel Mines and Development Corporation sa pamamagitan ng pakikipag-ugnayan ng kanilang Community Relations Office (CRO) ay humiling sa pagpayag at pag-apruba ng Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) – MIMAROPA na magkaroon ng realignment mula sa aprubadong Annual Social Development and Management Program (ASDMP)-2020 nito. Ito ay alinsunod sa MGB Memorandum na may petsang March 27,2020 at paksang “Realignment of Social Development and Management Program’s unutilized funds to support affected impact and non-impact communities due to COVID-19”.
