CNC turns over water system project to water-deprived community in Carrascal

Carrascal Nickel Corporation turned over water system project to water-deprived community in Carrascal, Surigao del Sur.

Fulfilling its commitment to improve the lives of those residing in its host communities, PNIA member Carrascal Nickel Corporation (CNC) recently turned over a water system project to a barangay in Carrascal through its Social Development and Management Program under Development of Host and Neighboring Communities – Public Utilities.

The construction of the Water System Level III Project has a total budget allocation of 3,000,000.00.

It will benefit the 1,960 individuals in the Barangay Panikian, addressing the scarcity of water supply in the community.

Present during the turnover were CNC Resident Manager Lester R. Marqueses and ComRel employees, the Municipal Local Government Unit headed by Vice Mayor Jessie James T. Valle along with constituents, the Barangay Local Government Unit led by the Punong Barangay Mamelito Cabadonga with officials, and community residents.
