PHILIPPINE NICKEL INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION SEALS PARTNERSHIP WITH CHINA BATTERY PRODUCERS

The Philippine Nickel Industry Association (PNIA) Chair Emeritus Clarence J. Pimentel, Jr. leads the discussion on the Philippines’ potential on the global nickel mining landscape during the forging of strategic cooperation between PNIA and the Power Battery Application Committee of China Industrial Association of Power Sources (CIAPS-PBA) held in China recently. China, being the world’s largest producer of e-vehicles looks to the Philippine nickel mining industry as a strategic partner in sustainable electric vehicle industry. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was also signed during the event to bridge member companies for possible collaboration, cooperation and partnership between the two industries.
